Abelard & Heloise, a pair of muted swans from Father Bernard's farm, lived happily together on our pond, until Heloise met a frigid demise in November 2006.
They hatched three cygnets, which were dispatched in short order by snaping turtles.
Abelard is actively looking for a mate.
