One of the periodic visitors on our pond is a lone white fronted goose. He liked the regular meals provided to the swans, who allow him to eat with them; and so he stayed. This type of bird often joins in with flocks of other types of geese. We also have herons (Great blue, white & green), mallards, red-tail hawks, great horned and screech owls. many types of woodpeckers. Oh...did I mention Canada Geese ?
