Employment Opportunities
Saint Louis Priory School is a 6-12, all boys, accelerated, Catholic school in the Benedictine tradition, with an integrated, liberal arts approach to the curriculum.
The Mission of Saint Louis Priory School seeks to provide a college preparatory education of the highest excellence. Accordingly, we present an educational program in the liberal arts tradition which prepares young men for admission to distinguished colleges and universities, enabling them to undertake their continuing studies with success. Such a program imparts the intellectual skills and the habits of inquiry, study and reflection which characterize the educated man. It challenges each student to discover and to develop his unique set of talents, and stimulates in him an intellectual curiosity and independence of thought.
This is simply not possible without a Faculty of the highest caliber; one that is thoroughly capable of wise instruction and deeply committed to careful attention to each student. Our faculty and staff identify with the mission, live our values, and want to be involved in all aspects of teaching. Serving our mission is exciting, demanding, and a great deal of fun.

Why I Work At Priory
Mary Claire MacDonald
Medieval Arts and Classical Languages Instructor
Priory is a home in the most literal sense of the word.
The monks live here, and the characteristics associated with home - warmth, stability, family, and comfort - seep from the monastery into every corner of the school.
Through this nurturing environment, students feel supported and safe enough to take the risks necessary to grow and thrive.
Bobby McCormack
Assistant Director of Enrollment Management and Head Basketball Coach
One of the many reasons I choose to work at Priory is because of the constant presence of spirituality and community, which is a tremendous selling point for me.
The faculty work diligently to ensure the full formation of every student.
We develop the mind, body, and spirit in the talented and motivated young men who join us on our 150-acre campus.
Kayce Swigelson
French Instructor
The essentials at Priory have not changed, and that is what makes this school so special: it is from years – centuries even – of slow growth, commitment, and expertise of Benedictine spirituality.
Saint Louis Abbey and Saint Louis Priory School are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons without regard to race, color, gender, religion, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, genetic information, veteran status, or disability.
We are extremely proud of our Faculty, over 88% of whom have graduate degrees, including numerous doctorates. Most faculty members have multiple roles to fill in the school and several have degrees in more than one field.
