Welcome to the Spring 2017 Alumni Newsletter
On behalf of the students, monks, teachers, and Alumni Association of Saint Louis Priory School, greetings to our Alumni! We are happy to offer you this second official Alumni Newsletter. It is important to us that you stay connected with one another and with the great things that are happening at Priory, and going forward you will be hearing from us on a more regular basis, with three e-newsletters and two mailed newsletters annually.
As you may have heard, exciting things are going on at our Alma Mater as we celebrate our 60th anniversary. Recently, the Alumni Board met and heard about the plans for improvements to the High School building. These include state-of-the-art science labs, expanded theater seating and staging, and improved classroom and student common spaces. This is the largest addition planned since some of us were students in the late '90s, and will make us once again a bit envious of what Priory students today get to enjoy!
The boys continue to accomplish great things. The most recent Priory graduates are currently freshmen at some very impressive colleges. The state-championship Lacrosse team is gearing up for another successful season, and our Mock Trial team finished first in the St. Louis Region and is advancing to the State Championship at the end of the month. Senior Tejas Sekhar was just named a Coca-Cola Scholar, one of only 150 in the country. Although it was good to be at Priory in our day, it’s safe to say that today it’s even better!
We know that in the past, we have had difficulty staying connected with our Alumni. One important component involves keeping our alumni records current—if you have not done so recently, please visit our online alumni directory and update your information. Also, if you have article suggestions or topics you would like for us to highlight in this newsletter, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at email@example.com or 314.434.3690 x326.
Be assured of the monks’ prayers, please pray for us, and please keep in touch as well — we hope to see you sometime soon on the campus.
