Vocal Music

Vocal Music is a popular option among Priory students.

Priory offers a series of vocal music classes and sponsors a school music club. Through a progressing curriculum in which concepts in music, music reading skills and diverse literature are introduced, a music student at Priory develops his understanding and enjoyment of music. The culmination of classroom work and the growth in musical skill is expressed through leadership in weekly Mass and participation in festivals, special events and choral concerts.

LAUS TIBI DOMINE, the Latin phrase beneath the Priory shield, means “Praise To You Lord."

"Laus Tibi Domine” is part of the chorus of “God of Great and God of Small,” a hymn sung at Priory school Masses throughout the year (video above).
