Construction Updates
We are proud to share that we are in the midst of a 40,000-square-foot renovation of the High School and former Junior School.
The Sharing the Promise…Shaping the Future campaign is so important for our school and we are all excited about the areas that will be enhanced including science, fine arts, technology, and student life.
The Promise
The founding families of The Abbey of Saint Mary and Saint Louis and the founding monks from England made a promise to each other.
One that stands today and one that will continue for generations to come. The promise states that the monks would provide spiritual and educational guidance to the young men that passed through the school and the families would provide for all the earthly needs of the monastic community. This promise is the cornerstone of our success and the one that will continue to carry us forward.

This campaign and the projects it supports represents Priory’s commitment to our students and reflects our mission of educating young men both spiritually and intellectually. The renovation, expansion, and updated spaces will enhance how our students learn and continue our unique educational program well into the future. Our success endures in the daily interactions and long-term relationships between the students and their teachers and spiritual mentors.
Project Snapshot
A new arts and science facility with four new labs, instructional space, and dedicated spaces for student research, design projects, robotics, medieval arts and studio art.
A new wing for Forms I and II, with all new classrooms, testing center, and indoor and outdoor commons.
Senior commons where High School students, lay faculty and monks can gather in a relaxed environment for both social interactions and small-group learning.
A new outdoor gathering space with an amphitheatre for more than 200 attendees, which will join the junior and senior common spaces together. We will be able to host parent and alumni events in this welcoming, natural space.
Upgrades to the Kevin Kline Theatre, with improvements for lighting, sound, and storage.
Redesign the entrance to the main school building for improved hospitality and functionality.
