Announcing the Priory Career Advisory Program
We’re excited to announce that Saint Louis Priory School is launching a revamped career program this month for students in Forms V and VI, with the support of the Alumni Board and the Fathers’ Club.
The Priory Career Advisory Program (PCAP) will consist of a series of sessions modeled after college admissions programs. Students will be invited to attend the sessions of greatest interest to them. We hope to connect our students with a wide variety of career options by featuring presenters who represent a diverse range of professions, and to foster deeper, multi-generational connections within our community.
We’ll host our first PCAP sessions from 8 to 8:45 a.m. on three Thursdays: April 16, April 23, and April 30. Presenters will speak for about 15 to 20 minutes, and then offer the opportunity for students to ask questions. Topics may include presenters’ academic backgrounds, career histories, day-to-day and overarching job responsibilities, necessary skill sets, and recent developments and trends in their fields.
We’re searching for alumni and fathers who are willing to share their professional paths with our students. Whether you are an engineer or an entrepreneur, practice medicine or law, or work in business management or the arts, we need you! Your experiences and perspectives hold unique value for our students.
If you can help us, please contact Emily Kuryla, Director of Development, at email@example.com to sign up for a session. Our students look forward to hearing from you!
