Father Gregory, Tony Finan, and Joe Gleich recently traveled to China to visit two schools. These schools send students to the United States to spend time at Priory each year, and Father Gregory saw this trip as an opportunity to further develop the relationship. “I was so pleased with the gracious reception we received from both schools,” he said. The heads of school have visited Priory, and Father Gregory was happy to reciprocate. “It was wonderful to get a sense of each school, to learn about their educational missions, and to witness their continued eagerness to participate in our collaboration.” In addition to formal events and the opportunity to visit classrooms at each school, Father Gregory, Mr. Finan and Mr. Gleich were able to squeeze in a little sightseeing. They visited the Great Wall of China and sites in Beijing related to the old empire: the Drum Tower and the Bell Tower from the Ming Dynasty. They were also able to visit the old section of Beijing, which Father Gregory describes as being full of shops and catering to tourists. The trio enjoyed seeing old connections and meeting new friends, and Father Gregory reported that the trip was a resounding success.
