Dear Priory Family,
I am happy to announce the appointment of Mrs. Alice Dickherber to the position of Director of Admissions for Saint Louis Priory School, effective June 1, 2016.
Alice, as Assistant Director of Admissions at Saint Louis University School of Law, is a seasoned admissions professional responsible for planning and executing a data-driven recruitment strategy. She has experience developing plans to meet enrollment and class profile goals, and communicating the mission and value of a Catholic educational institution.
At SLU LAW, Alice updated the department’s work flow, social presence, content, and communications, placing importance on individualized contact. She sees the Admissions Office as a resource for the individual questions and needs of each student, ensuring that families have all the information necessary to determine a good “fit.” She works closely with faculty and administration to showcase the opportunities and services offered by the school.
Alice has a Priory connection: husband Ryan is a proud alumnus of the class of 1997. She is a graduate of Convent of the Visitation High School in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and her experience there makes her a firm believer in the value of single-sex Catholic education. She holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Marquette University, and a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law. She is a volunteer teen mentor with Join Hands East St. Louis, and is a member of Immacolata parish.
She told me, “I am excited to meet everyone and to begin working with the Priory community of monks, faculty, staff, students and families.”
I want to express my gratitude to our committed team of administrators and volunteers who led our search for a new Admissions Director, including Dr. Bernard Kilcullen, Dr. Jared Rashford, Father John McCusker, Mrs. Diana Hartnett, Mrs. Amy Zlatic, and Mrs. Matuschka Briggs; many thanks to all who have helped during this time of transition.
I look forward to working with Mrs. Dickherber in her new role as Admissions Director at Saint Louis Priory School. Please welcome her to the Abbey Family.
Be assured of the prayers of my monastic brethren and myself for you and your families, and please remember all of us here at the Abbey and School in your prayers.
Yours in the Lord,
Father Gregory Mohrman, O.S.B. ’76
