Congratulations to the Class of 2020, a group of remarkable young men whose futures are bright indeed! This year’s senior class submitted more than 470 applications to 156 different institutions. The 64 graduates will attend 37 different schools, with one graduate playing on the AAA NHL Saint Louis Blues team. These numbers, however, do not get at the heart of the story of what makes these students so special and unique.  

One young man, Ian Crossey, applied to 10 different schools, and ultimately chose to attend the United States Naval Academy. Ian admitted that “the college application process was daunting at first but with the guidance and advice from my counselor, Mrs. Collier, and the college counseling office I felt much more comfortable with the colleges I applied to, as well as when the time came for me to make my final college decision.” Ian is not alone in his outstanding outcomes; Thomas de Wolff describes the thrill of being admitted and finally finding the school of your choice, “Once you've made your decision and fully commit somewhere, there's nothing better than celebrating a successful end to your application process with your friends and family.” Thomas was admitted to 7 schools and has ultimately decided to attend Dartmouth College.
