Saint Louis Priory School is fortunate to have strong support from the community for all aspects of the school. We have several benefactors who have given gifts to provide scholarships for our students. One such scholarship is the Nussbaum Music Scholarship. It was established in 1973 by the generosity of Mrs. Frederick Nussbaum. Mrs. Nussbaum was a talented musician – singer, composer and teacher of voice and piano for most of her life.

Through this fund, Saint Louis Priory School offers a scholarship in the range of $800-$1,000 annually to one student in Form I, which is renewable each year. Recipients are asked to show evidence of their continued musical growth by performing with one of Priory’s music classes or ensembles throughout their Priory tenure or by offering their musical gifts at events hosted by the Advancement Department.

Auditions for the Nussbaum Music Scholarship will be held in Room 111 (the music room) on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 a.m.  The audition piece should not exceed three minutes and does not need to be memorized. Any instrument or voice is acceptable. Interested Form I students may sign up by emailing Mrs. Stephanie Allee at sallee@priory.org.
