Dear Parents,

As summer goes on and we approach the beginning of August sports practices and the start of the 2019-20 school year, we wanted to remind you of (or, in the case of new parents, introduce you to) the systems the school uses to keep track of student records. There are upcoming deadlines for all students, so please read through to the end of this email.

MyPriory

MyPriory serves many purposes at the school. It is a notification center, as well as where grades are tracked and reported. It is also a launching point for accessing many other systems that we use at Priory, such as Magnus Health (medical forms), Smart Tuition, and PTC Wizard (parent-teacher conference registration). Each parent and student has their own login to this system. To claim your account, go to https://www.mypriory.org. Click on the link that says "To set or reset your password." New parents should provide the email address they gave when applying to the school. For current parents who are attempting to reset a password, use the email address where you receive Rebel News. You can choose to get your username and/or reset your password. These will come in separate emails. Incoming students cannot yet access MyPriory. Once their school email accounts have been created, we will send this information to parents, and students will then be able to set their passwords.

Magnus Health

Magnus Health is where we collect required medical information about students as well as necessary documents for participation in High School sports. It is now open for the 2019-20 academic year. Please see the table below for a list of items that need to be reviewed and which items need to be completed for this year. This year has the same requirements as last year.

Magnus Health Due Dates

  • Magnus Health will send reminder emails to families every Thursday throughout the medical form submission window until all requested forms and acknowledgements are on file.
  • The Vital Health Record, Annual Physical Exam Form, Student MSHSAA Permission Form, Parent MSHSAA Permission Form are due by Aug. 12 for High School students. Students who do not submit these forms by the due date will not be allowed to practice with their team until the forms are complete.
  • We request that all forms, regardless of school level, be submitted by Aug. 12. Magnus Health only allows for one due date per requirement, so all families will begin to get emails after Aug. 12 saying that forms are late.
  • The Parent Handbook Acknowledgement and Student Handbook Acknowledgement will be made available in Magnus Health in August and are due by the first day of classes (Aug. 22). Families will be given a grace period after that date but students who do not wish to sign the handbook acknowledgement cannot use Priory technology resources including student email and computers. Access to MyPriory is not contingent on agreeing to the handbook terms.
  • If you would like to request an exception to the above dates, please contact help@priory.org.

FAQ

I received an email that says I have to fill out a requirement in Magnus Health but when I log in, it says that I have completed that requirement.

Magnus Health calls the requirement complete because you completed it for the 2018-19 school year. However, the requirement must be addressed again for the 2019-20 school year, and this is why you received the email. Please address the requirement so that Magnus Health will note it complete for the 2019-20 school year.

I received an email that says I have to complete a requirement in Magnus Health but I’ve completed it. The status says “Pending Review.”

You do not need to do anything for those requirements. A member of Priory’s staff has yet to review the requirement and mark it complete.

Do I need a separate username and password for Magnus Health?

No, we are using single-sign on from MyPriory, so all you will need to do is log in to MyPriory and then click on the Magnus Health link under the Resources tab.

Enjoy the rest of your summer! We look forward to seeing everyone back on campus in August.

Sincerely,

F. Gabriel Santa Cruz
